DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY AT THE WORKPLACE
This online course is aimed at persons working or seeking to work in the tourism and hospitality sector. The course will enable participants to improve their digital competencies whilst focusing on hospitality, personal development and well-being. Course certificate will be issued to participants who successfully attend at least 80% of sessions.
By end of the course participants will
- Increase knowledge on how digital technology may better equip employees in hospitality. This will be done by increasing awareness of the products served, ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service and efficient back of house management.
- Use digital technology to assist with personal development, increase team motivation and engagement, as well as fostering career progression.
- Become aware of how digital technology may influence personal well being and that of colleagues. Participants will appreciate how effective use of digital technology may improve personal resilience and self-awareness.
Effective market research. Enhancing brand awareness through SEO, Paid Ads and Social Media. Search effectively for online information and critically evaluate web content. Sharing of specialised facilities and services.
Ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service online. Gathering and analysing feedback from customers.
